Enter the hours and work status in the My Day component.

Start

By default, you enter the hours for the current day, but you can change the day by selecting a particular day (1) or clicking on the "<" buttom to show the previous day.

Select your Project (not displayed in the screenshot) , Activity Type, etc.  and the Work Status.

If you click Start (2) you check in.  You can optionally overwrite the start/check-in time.

Update - Stop - Switch

Once started, you can see the start time, but the Hours still show 0 (1) - you can see/update the time since check-in in (2) and you can also update it.

You have the option to

  • Update the information, e.g. project, activity type, description, etc.
  • Stop the time and optionally provide a End (check-out) time
  • Switch Status

When switching the status you can

  • Update any information
  • Select the new status (here Break)
  • Overwrite the End (check-out) time

The current record is then completed and a new record created - copying the project, activity type, etc.

Next ... start break

After switching (or stopping and starting) the day history is displayed - here 3h (1)

The time after the last check-in is displayed in (2)

Next ... end break

Here I ended my break and continued working

So, I am back working after finishing the previous Work and Break - 3.5h (1)

... and according to the info worked 3.4h since then (2)

In the Compliance section, I can see the detail rules as well as my compliance status:

  • 3 hours work
  • 30 minutes break, but I need 4 hours work to have the break required.

End - Check-Out

After my final Check-Out

in (1) I see that I worked 11 hours (8.00h work + 3.00h overtime), I had the required meal, but not the second required break.

I can now also select any of the previous time slots (2) and update the record.

Rounding

T&E Items can be rounded, e.g., to the next 5 or 15 minutes.  If not defined, the same rounding rules apply to Timers and MyDay.

In > Setup > Custom Settings -- manage Accorto Settings, there are two settings

- Rounding Source - determines if the T&E Item is rounded based on the source record, e.g., Account - or ALL

- Rounding Timer - determines if the Time in/out records are rounded, e.g. ALL, None, NOT, MyDay

- Rounding Factor - round time up, e.g. 0.05 (3 min), 0.1 (6 min), 0.25 (15 min)
